The Thing Itself Rather Than Somebody's Experience of It
There is no human figure anywhere in this card. A heart, three blades and weather, and nobody present. That absence is doing something rather than being an omission: what gets depicted is the condition itself rather than anybody's account of it. Nothing about the image supplies an interpretation.
